Background
Simone Wieland is the owner and head trainer of Confident K9 USA, serving Florida's Nature Coast from her base in Brooksville. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, she grew up alongside a K9 companion and turned an early fascination with the bond between handler and dog into a lifelong profession. Before founding Confident K9, she volunteered as a puppy raiser for Summit Assistance Dogs, raised champion-bloodline working Rottweilers, and worked as a Lead Trainer for a national pet-supply and dog-training retailer in Hernando County. She founded Confident K9 USA to offer a relationship-first approach — building trust and confidence to reach willing obedience rather than simply "fixing" behavior. Continuing education is central to her practice, and she is currently pursuing advanced behavioral-modification training through the Method K9 Institute.

Our puppy daycare provider recommended Simone to help with the training of our puppy, Ace, whom we adopted a few months ago. Because of his abuse during his first few weeks, Ace has anxiety and doesn’t like to ride in a car or be alone. With her calm and professional demeanor, Simone helped us ease some of the anxiety, and it is getting better all the time. She also taught us humans how to communicate with Ace, and he now follows basic commands, stays in his crate for some time, and is getting better at impulse control. If you’re frustrated with your dog, I highly recommend a few private lessons with Simone.

This has been an incredible experience. Simone is truely amazing in her training of our dogs. Classes are very enjoyable and it’s amazing how quickly my dog learned. I would recommend this class to everyone. She has so much knowledge about how to feed your dog and how to apply natural and safe products to caring for your pet. She is the BEST👍🏻

Simone helped us immensely with our rescue dog and we are super grateful for her. Our boy wasn’t responsive to discipline and only cared about his wants to which he had many. Through her training we were able to address quirks that came up quickly and work through it in the best way while he was still in his puppy stages. We recommend her to everyone.

I recently completed a 4-week K9 training program and had a great experience. Simone’s knowledge and skill set were outstanding, and it really showed in how she worked with my dogs. The improvement in my Rottweilers’ behavior, structure, and overall responsiveness was definitely noticeable.

Simone is excellent at what she does. She is a great trainer of dogs and their owners. She was very patient and encouraging when I needed additional help handling my hyperactive puppy.
